Meet Dr. Sean Rayment, DMD, DSc 

Dr. Sean Rayment is a compassionate and caring dentist who strives to provide his patients with the best dental care. He believes that treating each patient as if they were one of his family members provides not only exceptional dental care but builds a trusting relationship that makes going to the dentist a little easier.

Dr. Rayment is a native of Massachusetts, having grown up on Cape Cod, completing his undergraduate degree at Amherst College and then obtaining his dental degree from Boston University. Following completion of dental school, he remained at Boston University and completed a Doctor of Science degree through the departments of Periodontology, Oral Biology and Biochemistry.

He has received numerous awards throughout his career, including recognition for clinical excellence by the American Academy of Periodontology and from the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. In addition, he is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, serves as a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society’s Dentist Health and Wellness Committee and is a member of the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine Alumni Board.

He remains passionate about learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technology, materials and research. Membership in the American Dental AssociationAcademy of General Dentistry,International Association of Dental Research, Massachusetts Dental Society and numerous local study clubs is just one way he continues to improve his knowledge of the dental profession. Dr. Rayment also takes many hours of continuing education every year in areas such as dental implants, dental materials, endodontics, periodontics, occlusion and TMJ as well as esthetic dentistry.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Rayment enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. They have a very active house that is filled with every kind of sporting equipment from hockey skates and lacrosse sticks to tennis racquets and water skis. And if there is ever a free moment you will see Dr. Rayment enjoying one of his true passions, training for and running marathons.
